Jane Stine, JD, M.Ed.

Jane StineJane is the Managing Director at C.E.L.A Belize and she loves helping students find the perfect program. She also designs courses for the many private university groups that come from across the United States to study, learn, and experience many academic fields in Belize from veterinary science to One Health to Archeology.

Before C.E.L.A. Belize, Jane co-founded Loop Abroad, which provides veterinary study abroad programs around the world. At Loop Abroad, she still serves as Managing Director. Before that, she served as a Program Director for high-school national leadership conferences around the US.

Jane first ventured into study abroad by designing Loop Abroad’s curriculum while earning her Masters of Education at Harvard University. She also consulted on and helped to design leadership curricula for college and high school programs around the world. For her innovative work in program design and her commitment to making study abroad more accessible, she was shortlisted for a 2018 Women in International Education award.

She earned her law degree at Georgetown University and has taught economics, finance, accounting, media ethics, and media law at colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts and authored The Everything Guide to Pre-Algebra.

Jane has traveled to eighty-two countries and all seven continents, and she has lived in Costa Rica, Brazil, Nepal, France, the Bahamas, Portugal, and Thailand.
